What do I need to know before I begin to enter my Resume?
You will begin by entering the appropriate information on each screen of the Resume Section. To save this information and move forward to the next section, simply click the save button at the bottom of each screen.

How do I post my resume?
Once you have completed the necessary information to establish a My Job Net Account, you will be taken to your Job Net Account Page. You may proceed by selecting the Post/Edit My Resume link. You may then follow the easy step-by-step instructions for entering your new resume.

How do I edit my resume?
Editing your resume is quick and easy. Simply login to your ClubJobs.net account and click on the Post/Edit My Resume link. You will then be able to make whatever changes you need. Please remember to click on "save" before you exit.

How do I delete my resume?
Before you delete your resume, you should consider making it completely private to all Direct Employers and Recruiting Firms.
Why?
You will always want to consider new employment
opportunities, and
keeping your ClubJobs.net account active allows you to keep a record of jobs you've applied to and jobs you are interested in. If you are concerned about your current employer viewing your resume, you can go to the 'Activate' / 'Deactivate' option on you're Current Resume Page. Click on the DeActivate option to block employers from viewing your resume.
If you want to replace your resume, go to the Post/Edit Your Resume page and save your changes. If, however, you are certain that you want to delete your resume, you can do so by clicking on Delete Resume on the Resume Page. Click on the Delete My Resume button. This will delete your resume and profile, delete any statistics, and delete your name from any of our employers' online databases.

Can I cut and paste my existing Resume?
To utilize information from your existing Resume, you can cut and paste each portion into the appropriate sections.

How long will it take to complete my Resume?
This depends on how the extent of your Resume. However, the process generally takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

If I don't have time to complete my Resume, can I save a portion of it and finish it at a later time?
Yes. At any time, you can leave the Resume section and come back later. All of the information you have entered and saved thus far will be there when you return.

Do employers automatically see my Resume once it is complete?
No. In order for any employer to view your Resume, you must activate it. You can activate your Resume at any time from the Resume Section. Be sure you have entered all required data prior to activation.

How can I control which clubs, vendors or recruiters see my resume?
Our system is unique in that it allows you to block employers from viewing your resume -- ideal if you want to keep your job search confidential. You simply click on the "Deactivate" button the the Resume Page.

Can I have more than one Resume stored in My Job Net?
Yes. ClubJobs.net has provided this feature so that you may store up to 25 Resumes within your account.

What all should I include when entering work experience?
Be sure to include responsibilities (duties, job tasks) and accomplishments (promotions, awards, etc.) in your job description.

How many references should I include?
Most resumes include a minimum of three references.

Should my references be personal friends or business associates?
It is generally preferred that you include professionals who are familiar with the quality of your work and experience. Be sure to ask permission from your references prior to including them on your resume.

What all should I include when entering education information?
In your description, include any information that is relevant to the type of job you are seeking. Recent graduates should include relevant courses, extracurricular activities, awards, scholarships, honors, and GPA if 3.0 or higher.

What do you mean by Affiliations?
These are organizations that may have be a member of or have an affiliation. For example: a golf professional would be a member of the PGA (Professional Golf Association), or a Catering Director may be a member of N.A.C.E. (National Association of Catering Executives).
